Angelique Sharpe- President
Angelique Sharpe is the founder and president of L.A.DY. Inc and is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a two-time alumni graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with both of her degrees in Education. She is a state recognized trainer for child care providers, and is a trained teen pregnancy prevention, H.I.V. & S.T.D. educator for youth. Additionally, Angelique has nearly 15 years of formal experience working with children, and teens in urban and rural areas. Angelique holds a Bachelors degree in Education with a sub-major in Youth Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), and a Masters of Science in Cultural Foundations of Education with an emphasis in Multicultural Education also from UWM.
Christopher Johnson- Vice President
Chris Johnson is the Vice-President of L.A.D.Y. Inc’s board of Directors and serves at the Assistant Executive Director in our daily operations. He was born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana, one of the most impoverished cities in the U.S., and joins us with an optimistic view and plan on how to make our communities better. He is a father of 3, and has been with L.A.D.Y. Inc since 2009. Chris holds a Bachelors in Communication with a minor in Organizational Management.
James Cooksey Jr.- At Large
James P. Cooksey Jr. is an at large board member as well a LADY Inc’s Director of Youth Programming. In this position, James is responsible for managing, and implementing LADY Inc’s programs. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mr. Cooksey is the oldest of four children. He is also a father to 2 young boys and a volunteer coach for the Quadrevion Henning Youth Foundation Football League. James is currently obtain a Bachelors degree in Communications of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Rachel Zollicoffer-Whyte-Treasurer
Rachel is the Treasurer of L.A.D.Y. Inc as well as the Director of Fiscal and Accounting Management. She is a graduate of Howard University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a mother of three healthy and strong boys and is devoted to the mission of L.A.D.Y. Inc
Erik Larson- Secretary
Erik Larson is married to Erin Larson and is Graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison. He studied public policy and research while in his studies and has worked at various agencies and organizations in Milwaukee that serve the community. Some of his most notable work was performed while he was employed at the U.S. Census Bureau- Milwaukee branch. Erik has a Masters Degree in Public Policy & Research from the University of Wisconsin
