Yes you can! Please understand that embarrassment happens to everyone. However, rejection is a whole other dimension. Nobody wants rejection, so a good idea is to tell the person face to face that they are a fun person to be around, and that you two should hang out sometime. Ask them to contact you if they have any extra time to make a new friend. If they contact you, they are interested in pursing a friendship. If they do not contact you dont worry. Remember these 2 things: 1. We are not everybody's cup of tea, and everyone's not our cup of tea. Meaning: although we will be attracted to others in our lives, they simply wont be interested in us. It goes the same for yourself. There will be some people that will be interested in you, and you wont be interested in them. Thats life! 2.  relationships start with a solid friendship, so you would want to see how that friendship works before graduating that friendship into a dating relationship! I hope we helped!
